With the spread of the new coronavirus, a new lifestyle has become popular in which people refrain from going out under the slogan “stay at home.” Under these circumstances, online seminars, which do not carry the risk of infection, are now preferred over offline seminars that require people to physically visit the venue.
So, what kind of awareness do participants have about offline seminars and web seminars? Soucle Co., Ltd. conducted a survey of 228 men and women in their 20s to 60s across the country who have participated in web seminars and events.

The top rankings were dominated by efficiency-oriented viewpoints such as “It’s time-efficient,” “It’s easy and easy to participate,” and “There’s no transportation cost.”

The reason behind the increasing number of people participating in web seminars instead of offline seminars was the spread of the new coronavirus infection. However, this time, 35.8% said “Because there is less risk of infection from diseases and colds, including the new coronavirus,” which came in fifth place.
The novel coronavirus may have been the reason why many people decided to participate in the webinar, but the fact that they actually participated and felt it was “efficient” has strengthened their support for the webinar. You can see that it is.

Amid the lifestyle of refraining from going out and working remotely during the coronavirus pandemic, there seems to be a growing tendency to learn and retain knowledge more efficiently.
It is expected that the demand for webinars will continue to increase in the future. It is necessary to understand the needs of these participants and create a web seminar with a high level of satisfaction.
