ProFuture will hold the “HR Summit 2019” at Akasaka Intercity Air from Wednesday, September 18, 2019 to Friday, September 20, 2019, with the theme of “NEXT HR – From building a Japan that can compete on the world stage.” was held.
HR Summit 2019 was a great success just like last year.
Thank you very much.
This time, we will introduce selected themes from the HR Summit 2019 event that are a must-see for managers and HR personnel, as well as the benefits of sponsorship for HR support service companies.
What is HR Summit?
The HR Summit is one of Japan’s largest human resources forums, attended by HR managers, managers, and executives from small and medium-sized companies to major companies, and is also the flagship event sponsored by ProFuture.
Each time, we hold lectures and sessions by a variety of guests, including executives from large companies, human resources executives, and university professors.
We will also support our sponsoring HR support service companies in their branding and lead acquisition throughout the year through the synergistic effect of the “HR Summit” and the HR portal site “HR Pro” operated by our company.
At HR Summit 2019, we invited as special guests Yasuo Inoue, All Japan men’s judo coach, and Akira Nishino, soccer coach, from the sports world ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as fresh celebrities and experts. Lectures were given on topics such as organizational structure.
HR Summit 2019 theme
The theme for 2019 was
“NEXT HR – How to build a Japan that can compete on the world stage.”
Every year, the HR Summit sets out themes that are necessary for future human resources.
Looking back, the themes for 2017 and 2018 were as follows.
2017 theme: “Next HR: Creating the next generation of HR value”
At HR Summit 2017, we advocated “Next HR” for the first time to create next-generation HR value.
The theme for 2018 is “NEXT HR ~Next-generation HR: Creation through collaboration~”
At HR Summit 2018, we advocated the creation of the next generation of human resources through various collaborations between government agencies and companies.
The 2019 event theme
, “NEXT HR – How to make Japan competitive on the world stage,” will be held
as part of NEXT HR Season 3, in preparation for the world’s largest sporting event to be held in Tokyo in 2020. In order to rebuild the company, we raised the issue in the HR field.
The management and human resources of Japanese companies are facing an extremely major turning point, such as “work style reform” and “progressing work style changes due to telework,” and a paradigm shift on a new level is required.
Just like Japanese athletes who are active at the world level, in the fields of management and human resources, we can leverage Japan’s strengths such as teamwork and technical capabilities to chart a new growth trajectory that is not just imitating overseas. We believed this and discussed how Japan should be able to compete in the world.
Don’t worry even if it’s your first time! Four benefits of event sponsorship
The HR Summit is held as an event that benefits companies by participating and sponsoring it.
This time, I will introduce four of the benefits.
1. Held in September to collect information for the next year
When HR Pro conducted a survey* of personnel in charge of human resources departments regarding the “timing for collecting information for the next fiscal year,” the most common response was “September to October,” so the HR Summit was held in 2017. It is held in September.
We have received comments from past sponsors, such as, “This is a good timing because next year’s planning period is in the fall.”
*Survey period: October 19th to October 24th, 2016
2. You can only apply for lectures that interest you.
Visitors to the HR Summit can freely apply for one lecture rather than a combination of guest lectures, so only those who are interested in corporate lectures will attend.
3. Steady customer attraction using media partners and in-house networks
The HR Summit uses a variety of media, including economic magazines, human resources magazines, online advertisements, and paper direct mail, as well as ProFuture’s HR executive network to attract top executives.
In fact, we have received comments from sponsoring companies of the HR Summit that they are highly satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the list, as well as the evaluation that seats filled up early.
Looking at the visitor data, we are able to reach executives such as managers/officers, business managers/directors, deputy managers/section managers.
In addition, a large percentage of companies have 1,001 or more employees, and companies participating in the HR Summit feel that it is effective in approaching major companies.
4. Don’t worry even if it’s your first time! Total support until exhibiting and smooth day-of operation
We have received the following comments from HR Summit sponsor companies regarding aspects other than attracting customers.
“From the preliminary explanation to the operation on the day, the explanation was easy to understand, so I was able to proceed without any hesitation.”
“They answered my questions quickly and were very helpful.”
As mentioned in the comments, we received high praise for the preparations leading up to sponsorship and the management of the event on the day.
Once a sponsorship decision has been made, the HR Summit Secretariat will provide support for preparations leading up to the event, and on the day of the event, management staff will work together to ensure a smooth process from arriving at the venue to preparing for the presentation and the conclusion of the presentation.
Regarding the day’s operations, we received very high ratings from visitors regarding their overall satisfaction with “very satisfied” and “satisfied.”
We would appreciate it if you could participate in sponsoring and exhibiting at next year’s event.
